I think an appropriate analogy would be buying a house- the more thinks you have to have for your home, the fewer choices are out there for you to just look at.

Let alone narrow down to potential 'buys.'

For me, I can't just find someone who doesn't want kids, I also have to find someone who is a non-smoker, not a future alcoholic or Rehab candidate, & they must love dogs. And that's all before I can think of them as a POTENTIAL match.

Wish me luck. I fraking need it.
