I had a tubal at 24 in a predominently Republican state. My brother-in-law, in residency at the time, told me I'd never find any licensed physician who'd perform one on someone my age.

He had at least five kids of his own.

Only concern I have now is that there's a greater chance it could fail more than ten years out. So it's not a free pass.
