As Presidential Candidate Barack Obama pointed out in one of the debates with Candidate McCain, there wouldn't be so many abortions if there weren't so many unintended pregnancies to begin with! Duhhh!
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as they say... women should learn to control their reproductive capabilities (the pill, IUD, condom's, whatever floats your boat but pick 1 or 2 even!). Women have many options to choose from, men only have about 2 options... condoms or abstinance. However, it's the woman that ends up pregnant for 9 months and if the man didn't want to be a father then guess who ends up with the child? Since women are the ones who get pregnant, they should take responsibility for their reproductive capabilities.
In this day and age it's just insane that so many women are having unintended/unplanned/unexpected pregnancies. And so very often they're having them with the very worst of the male species... if he mistreated you so badly why the heck were you screwing him at night? Why were you even with him to begin with? Hello, here's your sign! :-|
Single mothers seem to not realize that their children have 50% of their father's genes also, so if their father beat her and treated her like dirt, what does that say about how these children are likely to behave when they grow up?
Our genes DO influence alot of our behavior you do realize this right?
What I fear if that I as a single male am being screwed out of happiness because women are too busy screwing and getting knocked-up by Mr. Wrong out there. Essentially, there's nobody left for me to want to take out to dinner and enjoy a movie with....
And who are these Mr. Wrong's and why don't they date single mom's if they're such great guys? If there are SO many single mom's looking for a good guy this time, why aren't single men who have had children with other women willing to date them? It can't just be 1 crappy guy going around fathering all these children... there's gotta be more than 1 Mr. Wrong out there that's responsible for all these single mothers! :-
I worry about where I species is headed at the rate things are going....
